Shangrila's Amazon Queen

Born 05/15/07
ILR No.  272008

This beautiful BAL Presidio baby is not even a year old in this picture.  She holds the farm record for birth weight 39.5 pounds, hence the name Amazon Queen.  We call her Queenie.  She is out of our sweetest dams, Shangrila's Chablis.   And she has inherited her mother's temperament.  So if you like them big with flowing fiber and a lovely face, she's your girl.  $2000.

Shangrila's Lilith
Born 05/01/06
ILR No.  266893

Lilith is a daughter of Shangrila's Mariah and Power Spike.  She is a light wooled intense appaloosa with loads of stretch.  She is the tallest of the spring babies.  She lets me stroke her down her neck and back just  like a cat.  She comes from a long line of appy's so there is a good chance she will have appy babies.  We found Altanero to add to our herd just for our Power Spike Daughters. Lilith has been breed to Argentine Altanero for a Spring 2009 baby.  $3000

Shangrila's Contessa
Born 04/12/06
ILR No.  266890

Contessa is a daughter of Shangrila's Strawberry Wine and Power Spike.  She was jet black the day she was born.  We have found that this might actually be a black appy, (black with brown spots.)  So she could possibly have appy babies.  Her father and mother have both had appaloosa babies.  In fact you can see her full brother on the home page, Polkadots. Her half sister is Shangrila's Delta Dawn  and her half brother is Shangrila's Awesome Dude.  She has extremely soft fiber. And has become one of our friendliest females.  She is bred to BAL Whisk Me Away for a Spring 2009 baby.   $2250

Shangrila's Prissy
Born 04/16/06
ILR No.  266890

Prissy is out of BAL Presidio's and Shangrila's Sally a Hobbes Daughter.  She has incredible fiber.  It's different than any we have every had.  The first time we groomed her I grabbed the camera to take a picture of the ropes of fiber before we blew them away.  She took a second place and a 4th of the Top Five at the 2007 Virginia Classic, her first show.  Prissy is bred to Boogie Knight for a Spring 2009 baby.  $6000

Shangrila's Ashley
Born 04/16/05
ILR No.  262159

Movin On and Shangrila's Chablais produced this gorgeous appaloosa female.  And I really want to keep her.  But she is so friendly and pretty I am afraid someone is going to buy her.  Sold.

Shangrila's Blossom
Born 03/30/05
ILR No.  262091

Blossom is a daughter of Shangrila's Strawberry Wine and Movin On'.  She appears to be a creamy white but when we sheared her we found a few dark red spots.  So she could have appy babies.  Her father and mother have both had appaloosa babies.  Her half sister is Shangrila's Delta Dawn  and her half brother is Shangrila's Awesome Dude Sold

Breezy Acres Mini Llamas

Shangrila's Fawn
Born 10/30/03

This is one of my favorite llamas of all time.  She will let me walk up and hug her in the middle of the field but she is not in your face pushy.  She did great in the show ring but she had a problem with her first baby and we feel she should not be bred again.  So she will be sold with no ILR certificate and with the agreement she will not be bred.  she will make a great pet or a companion animal or a guard for alpaca females or a guard for sheep.
Sold

We do have some other possibilities for non-breeding females.  So please contact us if you are looking for one as a guard or companion.

All animals are halter trained.  Pricing is based on single purchase.  Package deals are negotiable.  Females are guaranteed to produce, or have produced, a  cria (unless stated otherwise).
