| We bought Boogie and his pasture mate Tommy Bahama to train as golf caddies. But I fell in love with Boogie. When I saw his confirmation and presence I had to take another look at his ILR. Not only is he a total outcross for our females but his father Chilean Napoleon is a famous reverse appy that is reported to have produced 33% appaloosa offspring. His mother Boogie Woogie was purchased by Sundown Llamas at the 2002 Celebrity Sale for $16,500 from the Tillmans. She was bred to Papa Noel, another amazing Tillman Herd Sire. Boogie Knight won the LFA 2003 Juvenile Male Futurity so you know he's got great confirmation. He has incredibly soft black fiber that falls in ringlets. Also Boogie is only 39" at the withers so though we are not purposely breeding for mini llamas we do get many requests for smaller llamas. We already have a request from a mini breeder to use him. Boogie has settled two of our females for Spring 2008 babies so he will be available for Fall 2007 outside breedings at $750. |
